opioid crisis team logo.JPG

Madison County Health Department would like for you to be a part of our Opioid Crisis Task Force. We have received funding through Missouri Department of Health to identify programs to help address the needs of our county so we can decrease opioid abuse/deaths.

Madison County is at high risk of experiencing a significant increase in HIV & Hepatitis C infection cases as per the Centers for Disease Control as related to injection drug use following CDC Consultation (July 2018) for our county. Madison County is ranked 58th in this national publication for these risks. We would value your ideas/input that your organization could bring to help fight against this epidemic.

Please join us in attending our task force meetings, which will be held every third Monday of the month at 3PM at Madison County Health Department.
